Beagle has been included in SUSE-based distribution since 9.3. This includes SUSE Linux 9.3, 10.0, 10.1; SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10; and openSUSE 10.2 and later versions.
In most cases Beagle will work out of the box. If you have a separate /home partition, ensure that extended attributes are enabled on that filesystem, as they are not by default.
